Malaysia is one of the research and development hub in south east asia region where the facilities are in order and well manage. Inline with that, Malaysia government announcing the Research and Development grant that can be apply to reduce the risk of failure as well as support in term of project financing.

 

R&D grant are open to both manufacturing and service by few agencies and ministry. R&D will be define by level of readiness of the project based on TRL level. Different TRL are given different type of grant amount as well as the time frame. The grant is matching grant (90:10) can be from RM250,000 up to RM15,000,000 based on the project, criteria and guidelines.
